1925 Photo - I Premio Reale di Roma - OM 665

This is a vintage & original 1925 photo of the start of "I Premio Reale di Roma" on February 22, 1925.

It most probably shows 1 of the two OM 665 cars that competed in this 40 lap race around the Monte Mario circuit.

The start was attended by Prince Umberto.

Neither of the two OM's were classified as they were too far behind the winner, Carlo Maseti in his Bugatti Type 35.

Renato Balestrero drove the first OM while Giuseppe Morandi drove the second one.

The photo measures some 9.5 x 7 inches (24 x 17.5 cm) and is black & white.

This is of course a vintyage 1925 print.
